Valeriu Ilicciev
Product & Delivery Lead.
I've spent the last six years on both sides of product work. Some days that means scoping a release with a client, planning the sprint and unblocking developers. Other days it means designing the flows and the design system myself. Most teams split those jobs between two people, and doing both keeps the handoffs short.
I started at Lira Digital, a digital agency in Chișinău, building interfaces in Figma and Webflow and gradually taking over client projects. At The Hague University of Applied Sciences I led the design team at the university's internal agency and ran projects for the Dutch National Police and The Hague Municipality. At STRAT, a US events and training platform, I ran delivery and moved a San Francisco conference online when layoffs hit the in-person audience. We still sold 150+ tickets.
Since July 2025 I've led delivery at ProDeo, a small product studio, on 20+ projects for YC startups, FC Barcelona, Jacob&Co and others. Before that I worked with the founder of Dreamerz, a social fintech app, on the redesign that helped it grow past 6,000 users.
Alongside work I'm doing an MSc in Applied Data Science & AI at the Open Institute of Technology. I'm based in Chișinău, I work in Russian, Romanian and English, and I'm open to relocating.
